EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST

Divers are dependent on their equipment, so knownig how it works ,and how to repair and maintain it is of paramount importance. Imagine how frustrating it would be to have a free flowing regulator or BCD at depth or a broken finstrap.Wheather its a regulator or a BCD or a mask strap this course will prepare you for basic equipment maintenance,care and adjustments you’ll encounter every day. You will familiarize yourself with the operation and maintenance of your personal equipment and may get the opportunity to review new or unfamiliar equipment.

The program is not an equipment repair program but it covers the following areas:

• Theory,principles and operation of dive equipment

• Routine recommended care and maintenance procedures and equipment storage.

• Common problems with equipment and recommended professional maintenance procedures(may include demonstration of repair procedures)

• Simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new gear.

• No dives are required , so you can take the course together with any other PADI course or specialty as a top up.

• Certification count towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

Duration: one day- no dives required
